SUMMARY:Scituate Town Library New Exhibit Unveiling
DESCRIPTION:Join the Scituate Library Trustees\, Library Foundation\, Veteran’s Advisory Council\, Select Board\, and Library Staff for a program and unveiling of the newest permanent exhibit. The Local History Room will house a Navy Paddle created in honor of Scituate Veteran LTFG John P. Connors who died in service in Panama during Operation Just Cause. The paddle was donated to the Town by supporters of the proposed memorial statue currently being designed for Lawson Green. The event will feature a program of speakers including Town and State officials\, veterans and statue organizers. Honored guests include LTFG Connors family members.
