DESCRIPTION:A free\, nonpartisan educational forum titled Affordable Housing 101 will be held Monday\, April 6\, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Scituate Town Library\, 85 Branch St.\, in the Community Room on the lower level . \nThe forum will focus on how affordable housing works\, how to qualify for various programs\, and what options are currently available in Scituate. A panel of local experts will provide an overview\, followed by a question-and-answer session and information on local resources. The in-person presentation will be recorded. Panelists will include representatives from Neighborworks Housing Solutions\, Scituate Housing Authority\, the Scituate Affordable Housing Trust\, and others.  \nLight refreshments will be available beginning at 6 p.m. The event\, organized by the Scituate Democratic Town Committee\, is open to all residents of Scituate and surrounding communities. SUMMARY:Town of Scituate Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Registered voters of the Town of Scituate are all eligible to vote as the legislative body during the Annual Town Meeting. The Town will publish the warrant on the town’s website in advance of the meeting to provide information on votes to be taken during the proceedings. Included will be the 2027 Annual Budgets\, bylaw change proposals\, and other crucial approvals for the governance and business of the Town of Scituate. This is the most direct form of government in the United States. Please come and let your vote be heard.
