DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Scituate Town Library invite you to a half-price sale of gently-used nonfiction in the bookstore located on the lower level of the library at 85 Branch St. The sale\, which started April 5\, will continue April  8\, 10\, 12\, 13.  Hardcovers will be $2\, paperbacks 50 cents. The bookstore is open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Mondays\, Wednesdays\, Fridays\, and Saturdays.  The nonfiction collection is extensive\, including history\, biography\, sports\, cookbooks\, gardening\, art\, travel\, and much more.  The bookstore also has a great collection of fiction\, children’s and young adult books\, CDs\, DVDs\, and vintage books at regular prices\, most ranging from 50 cents to $2.  Proceeds provide funding for library programs\, museum passes\, and special events.

DESCRIPTION:Adults are invited to join us for this unique workshop where you’ll have professional headshots taken in our greenhouse and make a small bouquet to take home\, all while supporting pollinator research and education at the Urban Bee Lab. Sign up for a 15-minute session with Katina Bentley Photography\, where she will capture a series of photos for personal or professional headshots. You will receive a private online proofing gallery where you may select up to three images for editing. Included in the workshop fee is one complimentary fully edited\, high-resolution digital file.
