SUMMARY:Blue Boat Concerts Presents: Bikini Whale (with Lindsay Straw)
DESCRIPTION:First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Scituate presents a special Pride Month Blue Boat concert\, featuring B-52s tribute band Bikini Whale! Opening act is virtuoso Boston guitarist Lindsay Straw\, accompanied by Andy Cambria on songs from their new EP. Since 2016\, the Blue Boat Coffeehouse has showcased the incredible talent of local youth and adults — expanding in 2025 with the concert-format Blue Boat Presents series — in a safe and sober all-ages venue\, while raising funds for local non-profit organizations. Proceeds from this month’s show will support Provincetown’s Summer of Sass. \nJoin us on June 20 to celebrate great live music\, local artists\, and a strong Pride community! \nAll proceeds from the door and sale of refreshments benefit the Summer of Sass program. Suggested donation at the door is $20. Baked goods\, coffee\, tea\, and water are available for purchase. \nFirst Parish UU Church is located at 330 First Parish Road\, Scituate\, MA (across from the Scituate Senior Center). It has onsite parking and an accessible entrance and restroom. The First Parish community strives to provide an intentionally welcoming and safe environment where all feel valued.
