DESCRIPTION:COHASSET – South Shore Art Center is thrilled to bring our annual Arts Festival back to the community with an in-person celebration on Cohasset Town Common. Now in its 67th year\, the South Shore Arts Festival kicks off summer in the South Shore with non-stop art and entertainment throughout Father’s Day Weekend: June 17-19\, 2022. A visit to the fairgrounds is a true art immersion with art exhibitions\, booth upon booth of artisanal crafts\, a pulsing sound stage and craft beer at the Untold Brewing beer tent. The festival is open to the public\, with a suggested $5 donation. Hours of operation: \n\nFriday\, June 17\, 1pm-7pm\nSaturday\, June 18\, 10am-7pm\nSunday\, June 19\, noon-5pm

SUMMARY:“American Vignettes” – Enjoy the sound of the Pilgrim Festival Singers
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the sound of the Pilgrim Festival Singers \nPilgrim Festival Singers\, a select vocal ensemble of Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC)\, the region’s principal community choral group\, present their South Shore summer concert series. The concert is called\, “American Vignettes” – featuring iconic Broadway musicals. They are including a tribute to the music of Stephen Sondheim. The singers will be performing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, June 17 at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church\, 381 Country Way. The ensemble is conducted by Music Director William B. Richter and accompanied by Susan Land Hotchkiss on piano. Tickets for American Vignettes are $10 and may be purchased at the door or online at pilgrimfestivalchorus.org.
