SUMMARY:Jonathan Edwards and Jon Pousette-Dart
DESCRIPTION:Two legendary singer-songwriters in one night! \nDoors open 6:00 pm \nShow starts at 7:00 pm \nTickets $55-70 \n  \nJonathan Edwards \nFifty years in music. Whether it’s a “Toys For Tots” Christmas Show for forty thousand people or a house concert down the street for 25 friends and neighbors and a couple of dogs\, you receive the best from this man–every time he takes the stage. These are honest emotions to which wings are attached. An authentic story of art for the sake of art. This is original music based in history and tradition. Pianos\, mandolins and fiddles…harmonicas\, stand-up bass and lots of guitars; the recordings and the concerts both create an environment and an atmosphere that make his singing seem effortless and a spontaneous natural occurrence. Peace\, Love and Understanding through the gift of Music. \nJon Pousette-Dart is best known as an American Classic and Folk Rock songwriter\, musician\, and performing artist. Growing up in Suffern\, NY with a household of artists\, including his father\, grandfather\, and sister\, he separated himself by picking up a guitar at the age of 10 and mapping out a life in music before he ever attended a Little League game. Since then it’s been a long and well-travelled road in the world of music. Jon has released 10 albums to date\, which includes both the Pousette-Dart Band and solo albums. Jon continues his solo and band performances around the country.

SUMMARY:Boston Red Sox History: What Was Johnny Pesky Really Like?
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Baseball Historian Herb Crehan. Herb Crehan has been interviewing and writing feature articles on former Red Sox stars for the team’s official program for 27 seasons. And he has been speaking to groups like the Scituate Historical Society for almost as long. \nOver the years the question he has been asked most frequently is “What was Johnny Pesky really like?” or “What is Yaz really like?” Fans know the players from their performance on the field and TV interviews but they are also interested in what the players are like up close and personal.Herb has put together a presentation that includes PowerPoint slides\, featuring eight of your favorite former Red Sox players. Each former star represents a decade beginning with Johnny Pesky for the 1940s through Alex Cora representing the teams of the twenty-first century. Herb will share his insights about each player and include some colorful stories about his interviews. He will leave plenty of time for you to ask about your favorite Red Sox player. After interviewing more than 100 former Red Sox stars he should be able to tell you about most of them!
