DESCRIPTION:Come support the Scituate Animal Shelter at this fun event at the members-only Hatherly Country Club. \nPutt for Pets Event Agenda \nLocation: Hatherly Country Club\nTournament Date: September 28th \n11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Registration & Pre-Game Check-In\nPick up your boxed lunch to enjoy before or during your round\nFinal chance to purchase Golf contest packages and Mulligans \nFinal chance to enter Helicopter Ball Drop\nPutting Contest on Practice Green \n12:00 PM Helicopter Ball Drop\nGather for the visual highlight of the day a thousand numbered golf balls are released from a helicopter\nThe Winner: The ball landing closest to the designated target wins the grand prize\n12:15 PM: Get Ready\nGather at Golf Carts\nListen for rules and special instructions\n12:30 PM:\nRanger will escort to starting holes\n“A” group teams tee off simultaneously for 18 holes of play\, followed by “B” group teams\n“Scramble” format\, all team members hit their tee shots. The team collectively selects the best shot\, and everyone picks up their balls and plays their next shot from within one club-length of that spot (no closer to the hole). This process is repeated until the ball is holed out. Only one score is recorded for the team\nOn-Course Activities: Enjoy refreshments and specialty hole contests throughout the afternoon\n5:00 PM: Cocktails & Auction Preview\nUnwind after the round with drinks and hors d’oeuvres\nSilent Auction: Browse and place bids on items\n6:00 PM: Dinner & Awards\nDinner: Buffet-style dinner service begins\nAwards Ceremony: Announcement of tournament winners and raffle results \nHelicopter Ball Drop  \nCost: $20 per numbered ball (1–1\,000 max). \nThe Drop: A helicopter drops all balls simultaneously over a marked target.\nThe Prize: The ball closest to the pin wins a 50/50 cash payout up to $10\,000 (reaches the maximum grand prize if all 1\,000 balls sell out). \nTracking: Your numbers are linked to your name and shared before the event.\nWinner: Officials verify the closest ball after they land.
