About Minot Beach in Scituate, MA

Minot Beach is a small, sandy beach located in North Scituate, Massachusetts. It is situated on the shores of Massachusetts Bay and offers stunning views of Minot Ledge Light. At low tide, there is a large sandy beach for sunbathing, games, or a long walk. Kids of all ages love to explore the tide pools teeming with ocean life. At high tide, the beach area is greatly reduced but you can explore the famous Well Rock and swim in the protected cove area.

Minot Beach is open year round  and is staffed by lifeguards during the summer months. There are two Town-owned parking lots along Bailey’s Causeway. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, a Town-issued parking sticker is required to use these lots. There is limited on-street, two-hour parking. A port-a-potty is located in the parking lot during summer months.
