The Scituate Historical Society is a leader on the South Shore for historical preservation and education. For over 100 years the society has been reciting unique stories, saving historically rich locations and showcasing beautiful buildings that make Scituate such a wonderful location to visit and learn about our ancestry. The Historical Society owns outright 5 properties and manages / operates 6 additional properties owned by the town of Scituate.
The Society is located in the Kathleen Laidlaw Center, 43 Cudworth Road. Phone: 781-545-1083. HQ open M-F 10am to 4pm. (closed on Wednesday). Free of Charge. A donation box available.
