Among the many traditions celebrated on the South Shore, perhaps the most popular is the St. Patrick’s Parade on the Irish Riviera held in Scituate every March. The 2.3 mile parade route through scenic Scituate Harbor is lined with thousands of enthusiastic spectators of all ages from all over the South Shore and beyond. It is now considered the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade on the South Shore.

Parade Route: From the Veterans Memorial Gymnasium (former Gates Middle School) at 327 First Parish Road down First Parish Road through downtown Front Street in Scituate Harbor and ends at Scituate Harbor Community Center at 44 Jericho Road.
