Explore different sites at our Open House series! A variety of sites will be open on each date in the series. The locations open for the Heritage Days Open House on Saturday, August 2 are: Scituate Lighthouse Lawson Tower Stockbridge Grist Mill Mann House Maritime & Irish Mossing Museum
Meet Salt: A life size, 43-foot long inflatable humpback whale, courtesy of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. In conjunction with the Heritage Days Open House on August 3, Stellwagen volunteers will walk you through Salt and offer information on whale biology and behavior. Other museum exhibits, photo spot and interactive displays are available that day....
Grab the family and a blanket or chair and enjoy a live concert from Scituate's own bell tower! Free and open to everyone.
Register for the limited seats to climb the 123 steps to the belfry of Lawson Tower for the full moon! Members of the South Shore Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes for viewing. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
