The annual kick-off activity for Scituate’s Heritage Days begins with a boat parade in the harbor. Participants are encouraged to decorate and light up their vessels. They are to convene as directed by the Harbormaster outside the harbor around 6:30pm and will then “parade” through the harbor. Viewing can be seen all along the harbor’s water’s edge.

At sundown, the entire coastline will be lit with luminaries, including the jetty into the harbor. Spectacular annual event.
