For Students in Grades 4-8:

Join local comic book artist Patrick Niebauer for a fun, beginner-friendly drawing workshop during April vacation week! Patrick, a Scituate resident and freelance illustrator, has studied studio art and figure drawing at Colgate University and the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia, and has trained with Comic Pro Bootcamp, run by artists whose work appears in Marvel, DC, and Image Comics.

In this class, kids will learn the basics of drawing cartoon characters and get tips on how to create their own. Patrick regularly creates commissioned illustrations and has shown and sold his work at events including FanExpo Boston, Rhode Island Comic Con, and Wicked Comic Con.
