Join your friends and neighbors on Saturday morning for some fun, hands-on community improvement work! You can help plant beachgrass to secure the dune and protect the marsh for the upcoming season. Bring a trowel, shovel or spoon! We will provide digging supplies, if needed. In addition to dune nourishment, there will be a beach cleanup! Great day with the kids and important giving back lessons! You’ll learn why the beaches are so important and ways to keep them beautiful and healthy. This event is presented by the North and South Rivers Watershed, Key Club International, Scituate Beach Commission, Harbor Methodist Church and Scituate Trashed.
