Registered voters in the Town of Scituate have the final vote on any articles put forth at Town Meeting. As the “legislative branch” of local government, proposals cannot move forward without your ok.  The Annual Town meeting will determine the operating and capital budgets for FY25, funding for CPC recommended projects, changes to zoning and town bylaws and many other important considerations on the warrant (found on the Town website at www.scituatema.gov). All you need to do to participate is to show up at the Scituate High School gym at 7pm, sign-in and take a seat. The Town Moderator will oversee the meeting and tell you how the evening will proceed, how you can comment (if you want to), and how to vote.  There are over 14,000 registered voters.
