The Friends of the Scituate Town Library invite you to a half-price sale of gently-used nonfiction in the bookstore located on the lower level of the library at 85 Branch St. The sale, which started April 5, will continue April 8, 10, 12, 13. Hardcovers will be $2, paperbacks 50 cents. The bookstore is open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The nonfiction collection is extensive, including history, biography, sports, cookbooks, gardening, art, travel, and much more. The bookstore also has a great collection of fiction, children’s and young adult books, CDs, DVDs, and vintage books at regular prices, most ranging from 50 cents to $2. Proceeds provide funding for library programs, museum passes, and special events.
