South Shore Irish Heritage Trail’s “Trasna” Photo Contest is open!  The Contest and International Exposition is open to all photographers, brand new to professional. Submissions must be received by November 17, 2024 for consideration. The winning photos will be displayed at the South Shore Art Center during March, 2025, following a Gala Opening on March 1, 2025.

The exhibition title, “Transa”, is the Irish word for “across” and is often used in reference to crossing the Atlantic. Details about the inspiration and expectations for the contest entries can be found on the SSIHT website at www.ssirishtrail.org.

The contest will be juried by internationally acclaimed photojournalist Martin Nangle.
