Scituate Sister City Cape Verde, Santa Catarina do Fogo Committee is hosting the First Annual Cape Verdean Independence Day Celebration, including music, food, fun, raffles and the raising of the Cape Verde Flag. Officials from Cape Verde, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Town of Scituate will join in the event.  This will be a wonderful event for the whole family to celebrate with neighbors, especially those with deep ties to Cape Verde.
